Anika Ellis-Mungin is a triple-threat international artist with over 30 years of professional experience, Anika has performed across a wide range of stages and genres, from Broadway to feature films. Born and raised in the Washington, D.C./Maryland area, she began her training at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and continued at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in NYC as well as New York University. Soon after, her impressive career took off.

Her Broadway credits include Aida and being an original cast member of both the revival of Sweet Charity with Christina Applegate and Oprah Winfrey's The Color Purple. National Broadway tours and regional shows include Aida, Fosse, Dreamgirls, A Chorus Line, and Trip of Love. In film, she appeared in I Am Legend with Will Smith, where she was cast as one of the principal stunt and character actors.

In addition to recording and leading as a singer and dancer in her own band, Anika has performed alongside artists such as Toni Braxton, Fantasia, and Rob Thomas. She is currently a featured background singer with the world-renowned KC AND THE SUNSHINE BAND.

Drawing on her extensive experience, Anika has co-founded a new talent management company with her dear friend and fellow artist, Deidre Lang, called Lang & Ellis Talent Management. They are excited to share their knowledge, expertise, and unforgettable adventures with the next generation of gifted young artists.
