Malcolm Jones grew up in Neptune, New Jersey. He received his early dance training at the Asbury Park Technical Academy of Dance in Asbury Park, NJ, focusing on ballet, jazz, modern, and tap. He also expanded his education through various summer programs, including the Bolshoi Academy, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and Alvin Ailey Dance.

In May 2015, Malcolm earned his BFA in Dance from Montclair State University in New Jersey. During his time at Montclair, he performed works by Larry Keigwin, Antony Tudor, Andrea Miller, and Frederick Earl Mosley. He began his professional dance career with Neville Dance Theatre shortly after graduating, followed by roles with Lustig Dance Theatre and Nimbus 2 Dance Works. He currently dances with the American Swiss Ballet Company in New York City.

In 2019, Malcolm entered the modeling industry and signed with Latitude Talent Studios in NYC. This led to opportunities such as walking for Suede Fashion Week and Brooklyn Fashion Week. By the end of 2019, he joined Bon Chancé Artist Management and has since walked in various shows for New York Fashion Week F/W 2019 and S/S 2020. Malcolm is currently represented by Model Management Group New York and The Movement Talent.
