Marilou Perez
Marilou was born and raised in Lyon, France. At the age of 13, while taking part in the European selection for the Youth America Grand Prix, Marilou won an internship in New York, including classes at the Ailey School, which had an impact on her. After graduating with a Baccalaureate and technical aptitude exam in ballet, she studied Graham, Horton, contemporary, jazz and voice at the Ailey School for 3 years, including 2 on scholarship. She has participated in numerous summer intensives, including Rosella Hightower in France, Princess Grace of Monaco and the Parsons Dance Company. She performed as part of "Table of silence" at Lincoln Center with Buglisi Dance Theater and participated in a "Fielding Sixes" workshop, Merce Cunningham, directed by Jean Freebury. Marilou joined Jamel Gaines Creative Outlet in July 2024.
