Nailah Roberts

Nailah Roberts is an education professional from Des Moines, IA. She is a lifelong learner fiercely committed to nurturing a love of knowledge and cultural competency in young people. She holds two Bachelor's of Arts degrees from the University of Iowa in French Language and Anthropology, both of which she credits with shaping her exploration of the ways human beings preserve their values, identities, and aesthetics through writing and the arts. Nailah taught high school Humanities classes in New York charter schools from 2018 to 2025, witnessing how essential rich arts programming is to support the development of a global perspective as well as deep knowledge of self. In addition to her career pursuits, she is a dancer and has danced in several student and professional productions across New York City.
